Sistersville Elementary School is located in the Sistersville Community in Tyler County. The Elementary School was built in 1975 and was designed for grades K-5. The school underwent a major expansion and renovation in 1999. Sistersville Elementary School is now home to students in preschool-5th grades. SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Sistersville Elementary School is to ensure that all students achieve mastery of the West Virginia Content Standards through a student-centered approach to teaching, assessment, and learning.

 We believe…

 1.   We believe that teaching and learning should be student-centered to ensure mastery of academic and technology skills leading to excellence.

2.   We believe it is important to teach and encourage good character and citizenship, responsibility, caring, fair treatment, trustworthiness, and mutual respect among students and staff.

3.   We believe that two-way communication among our school, our families, and our communities is essential.

4.   We believe our school should be a safe, secure, and enjoyable place to learn and work.
