On behalf of the entire staff at Sistersville Elementary School, I take pleasure in welcoming you to our school website.  Over the years, Sistersville Elementary School has garnered a very positive reputation across the state of West Virginia for its exemplary performance on many different levels.  Successes have been achieved through hard work, dedication, and a very supportive community.

The goal of Sistersville Elementary School is excellence.  Striving to reach this goal must be a collaborative effort on the part of the students, teachers, administrators, parents, and community.  We earnestly solicit everyone's cooperation in this venture and assure everyone that the result will be well worth the effort. We encourage our students to become actively involved in their studies and in the extra curricular activities at our school. On the same token, we encourage parents to play an active role in their child's education both at home and here at school.

I am very proud of our students, our parents, our faculty, and our school facility.  As a faculty we function as a community of learners.  We continue to seek out new methodologies and strategies to insure our students receive a 21st Century Education.  It is our collective wish that all of our children will be able to face the ever-changing world of the 21st Century.  I invite you to come visit us.
