On Monday, Mr. Wittmer and Mrs. Jones hosted our annual fall blood drive with the Red Cross. We had 35 successful donations with 18 being first time donors. This is the most we've ever been able to donate to the Red Cross. We would like to thank all donors, Boggs Pizza for their continued support and donating pizzas, the cooks for helping prepare materials, the Stealey Green Community grant for providing food and shirts, and all the volunteers who gave us their time to set up and teardown everything that was needed for the blood drive, and Mrs. Yost and her students for printing our t-shirts. We couldn't have done it without everyone's support. #KnightsPride

Seniors and parents, please check the email that was given to the photographers for senior portraits. You should have received the proofs today, and you can order directly with Inter-State Studio. If you did not receive the email, please contact Mrs. Yost.

On Friday, Mrs. Jones and her parenting class had the opportunity to give back to the community and tour local resources. We were able to...
-Collect and take donations to the Gabriel Project with Valerie Brown.
-Read a book, provide the craft, and snacks for the Wetzel Community Center for Children and Families.
-Tour the Sexual Assault Advocacy Center with Emily Wittmer.
-Tour the Tyler County Community Center with Christina Wilkinson, Pam Weekley, and discuss local changes being made in the county with Jill Ash from the Family Resource Network.
-We then ended the day at the Community Garden of Sistersville.
This was all made possible by each resource taking their time to allow us to come in. The students had a wonderful time and learned about local resources if they should ever need them. We were happy to volunteer our time, give back to the community, and learn what each resource could provide. Thank you Kayla Shields for taking us and participating with us. #KnightsPride
