We have some exciting news for several Knights Band Members! Congratulations to the TCHS Brass Choir and 7th-grade flautist Analea Lydick on being selected as Solo and Ensemble State Honor Finalists! They will take the stage at the Little Theater in the Charleston Coliseum (Civic Center) this Thursday, March 6th, as part of the WVMEA State Music Conference. The recital begins at 6:00 PM. Out of 22 selected submissions (6 vocal, 3 strings, 4 piano, and 9 instrumental), Analea and the Brass Choir earned their spots among West Virginia’s finest young musicians! • Analea Lydick will perform "Peasant Dance," accompanied by Pat Malone. • The Brass Choir will present "Intrada No. 7" by Renaissance composer Melchior Franck. Brass Choir Members: • Trumpet: Luke Deaton, Selene Holcomb, Caleb Gist • Horn: Keelin Yeater, Xavier Kanz • Trombone: Caramia McCoy, Emily Fetty, Walker Ramsey, Chase Camerlin • Euphonium: Riddock Shinn • Tuba: Wyatt Hakes This is an incredible achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of these talented musicians. **Calendar Update**
June 3rd and 4th are now instructional days, with June 4th being the last day for students.
Additionally, planned power outages of approximately 4 hours each day are planned for Tyler Consolidated on Friday 2/28 and Monday 3/3 to allow the construction crews to work on electrical systems. This outage will ONLY affect Tyler Consolidated.
