Good luck to the Knight's football team as they take on Sherman in round 1 of the West Virginia State playoffs! #KnightsPride

Tyler Consolidated High School Community,
We have been informed by the WVSSAC that as a result of the recent West Virginia Supreme Court ruling dealing with conflicting injunctions brought upon the WVSSAC, that our Volleyball and Cheer teams have been removed from postseason play in the State Tournament.
First and foremost, we want to express our apologies to our dedicated student-athletes and coaches that have committed far more than a season, but years of hard work that led them to incredible seasons and great accomplishments that they undoubtedly worked hard to earn. We could not be more proud of how you represented yourself, your school, and your community all throughout. Even in these times of uncertainty, you did not waver.
We take great pride in the commitment that our students make in their involvement in school activities, regardless the sport, club, or organization. High school extracurriculars truly offer once in a lifetime opportunities and unfortunately, those opportunities were left unfulfilled for our students due to complex legal disputes and decisions beyond their control.
We are disheartened about this decision and have many questions ourselves about this ruling. Our priority will now be to not allow for this unfortunate decision to take away from the great things our students have accomplished and will continue to accomplish. #KnightsPride
