Tyler Consolidated High School is among forty-five high schools in West Virginia being recognized as a 2023 Champion of College Access and Success. College for West Virginia (CFWV) coordinates three annual college-planning milestones to help students in West Virginia plan their pathway to education or training beyond high school. High schools that successfully participate in all three of these pathway events and meet certain criteria are recognized as a CFWV Champion of College Access and Success school. The three milestones have specific components to help students in West Virginia transition to postsecondary pathways. A big thank you to our school counselors, senior teachers, and all staff members of TCHS for help making this possible! #KnightsPride

WVGSA Score Report information:

Today we hosted our senior student vs. TCHS staff volleyball match. It was a fun event with our teachers walking away with the win! It was a close game that was enjoyed by the student body and was a great way to end the week. There is no school this coming Monday or Tuesday for students. Enjoy the long holiday weekend! #KnightsPride

Today we kicked off spirit week with a friendly competition and some time spent outside! 11th and 12th grade students competed in a team oriented competition, with the seniors walking away with the win and an early trip to lunch! A big thanks to our Student Success Center staff for organizing the event and providing snacks and drinks to our students. Tomorrow is round two between our 9th and 10th grade students! #KnightsPride

Yesterday was an exciting day for a couple groups of our students at TCHS. Our 9th grade students participated in a commitment to graduation with our partner from Jostens, Mr. Ross. Mr. Ross engaged students in a "line of life" activity to represent how brief and important a students time in high school truly is. After that, Mr. Ross met with our senior class officers to take the first step towards graduation by selecting their graduation announcement. Thank you Mr. Ross! #KnightsPride
