Any Junior or Senior enrolled in a WVUP college course for this school year is invited to participate in an Orientation to Blackboard on Friday, August 18th, from 9-11:30 in the School Library. A representative will be available to help you log in to your courses and complete any last-minute details before classes start on Monday, August 21st. You may stop by anytime during those hours. You are strongly encouraged to attend if this is your first time taking a college course.

Join us for the Tyler County Schools Back To School Fair on August 8th at Sistersville Elementary School from 4-7pm. Transportation is provided.
Students taking courses at TCHS from WVU-P are reminded to pay tuition directly to WVU-P. When paying WVU-P, share with the Business Office Staff that the student attends TCHS to receive the correct amount owed.
Pay using one of the following methods:
• Online at wvup.edu/payment and choose the last option at the bottom of the screen
• Over the phone by calling the Business Office at 304-424-8223
• In person between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday
• Mail check or money order to the attention of the Business Office in advance of the deadline
• Include the student’s first and last name on the memo line

Lace Up for Kids Back-to-School Shoes Program
All school-age children from low-income families, grades Pre-K-12, in Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel, Tyler & Brooke Counties in WV, and Belmont County, OH, are eligible to receive a free new pair of shoes just in time for the new school year!
Wendy’s, WTOV9, Covestro, EQT, and United Way have partnered to help children in school get new shoes for the new school year. Families can apply for each of their school-age children to get a new pair of sneakers if they live in the counties of Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel, Tyler & Brooke Counties in WV, and Belmont County, OH.
Applications to receive shoes are due no later than JULY 15th! Families MUST register to participate.

Attention any student interested in playing Football: The 1st week of 3 week training period will be beginning Monday June 19th at 8:00 A.M. at TCHS. If you are planning on playing please attend, we will he be issuing helmets out and will begin our preparation for the 2023 season. We look forward to seeing you all there.
